Leather Covers for Control Column?
« on: October 22, 2021, 10:33:05 pm »
After looking at the pictures of Kent's airplane, I have been thinking about having some leather covers made for my control columns. They are all scratched up, which is not surprising given the amount of kicking they get when getting in and out of the cockpit, not to mention when maintenance or avionics is in there trying to do something.

I know I've seen Commanders with these covers-- is this a product or something I need to have custom made?

Aero Air thinks their interior shop can make some, but I figured I'd see if there is a solution already in existence.

Hi Don,

I think I mis-read your earlier post.  I think most interior shops just make their on control column covers.
