Saw this today but not yesterday.

Let me introduce myself; I'm Roy, inactive pilot (but looking at getting active again) but was active in the mid-80's until mid-90's. Worked in KHWD in the flight school next to Yoda (Morris) and had the privilege and honor to work on and fly these great aircraft via Morris. My dad "drove" for TWA back in the heyday of flying.
I've been enjoying this web site very much from the background, and prior to this the Matronics one. I have many fond memories (and relate to conversations of yours like pulling the breaker on the electric hydraulic pump after takeoff), working on fuel cells (I was much smaller stature back then), and working on and flying these great airplanes. The stories and camaraderie makes me dream of being a part of this family.
I still live in the Bay Area with a wife and just put a kid in Indiana for Med School, and hope to take the short trek to see Morris again in KSCK soon.
I'm a regular at Reno Air Races. A buddy is a biplane race pilot that I've now graduated to being pit crew from just being a groupie
Hope one of these fly-ins doesn't coincide with Reno, and wish/hope to join what sounds like a great "family" of AC people someday...
First post; I'll try to not look/sound dumb when I reply to future conversations.
Roy
