690A $199,000 or best offer
« on: August 12, 2016, 04:40:40 pm »
Here's a 690A that I just ferried to Naples from SC.  In the sad department, the plane has not been flying and needs a significant amount of time/life limited calendar work including SB241.  The happy part is that it's a good looking, shiny 690A with freon, Collins, nice windshields, complete logs since production test flight, etc.

Looks good Bruce.

I'd be all over this if I was "single", so to speak.
Slumming it in the turboprop world - so you don't have to.

I hear ya Adam.  This one is definitely nice enough to be of great transportation service but the parts are valuable separately as well.  It's ready to inspect, run and ferry away ...

Seems like a great deal, even if it needs a bit of work. It would definitely be sad to see that one parted out!

Bruce, how much would it cost to make this airplane legal and airworthy?

Don - That is the question, isn't it?  With $70k 241 and a $70k hot (might be $30k, could be $100k), I guess $240,000.  I've been through the school of hard knocks so I try to be realistic so ymmv.  Great project for the operator who has the capability to do the work.

Nope - not for parts!  ;D  I do whatever I can to keep them flying.  Sometimes not the smartest thing financially short term but not much pains me more than to see the circular saw on a Commander.

They either consume parts and keep the support system strong or they become parts and remove the support system.

It ended up in Salem Oregon. At least on paper. Nice. We need more commanders in Oregon.

The registration shows the address of a "registered agent"  so I'm sure it's not coming to Oregon. My bad. Sorry
